Charity never faileth

Last night at relief society we had a beautiful musical production by this lovely person:

I really liked it.

I've been thinking a lot about charity. Acquiring it, keeping it, understanding it, wanting it. Elder Eyring's talk started me thinking a couple years ago.

The General Authorities of the church impress me continually with their charity. I love this response to a number of issues at hand:

Beautiful. Strong. Unashamed. It seems the stone will roll forth with those who want to be involved. That is what charity seems to be. Doing and saying what the Savior would do and say even to the most mean and spiteful people.

Weather the wrath or the storm tossed sea,
or demons or men or whatever it be,
No waters can swallow the ship where lies,
The master of ocean and earth and skies.

They all shall sweetly obey thy will,
peace be still, peace be still,
they all shall sweetly obey they will,
peace peace be still.

thanks Bryn, interesting to read the church response to the TV show, and always nice to hear your testimony of true principles.
